Welcome to Design Hair Company's terms and conditions. I'm dedicated to providing excellent hairdressing services as a Mobile Hairdresser. Please read the following terms carefully before booking an appointment with me.
CONSULTATION & SKIN TEST
All new colour clients are to have a consultation appointment before booking a colour service. A non-refundable payment of £20 is required, and this will come off your colour appointment.
NEW CLIENT'S
During your consultation appointment I will do a skin test, It's important to give you a skin test even if your new to colour or have been colouring your hair for some time, as all colours can react differently.
Existing clients that are wanting to book a colour service may also need to be
re-tested especially if there have been any changes to there health or medication. please keep me informed of any changes as its in your interest to do so.
CANCELLATION POLICY
I understand that sometimes you need to cancel/reschedule an appointment, so if you do need to please give me 48hrs notice before your appointment.
I require a minimum courtesy of 48 hours notice, please understand that if you do not give me any notice, I miss the opportunity to fill the appointment in time for someone else.
If you cancel less than 48 Hours before your appointment and don't reschedule unfortunately you will loose your deposit.
APPOINTMENTS
Please make sure your hair is clean (unless otherwise requested) I like to work with clean hair to give you the best results
SERVICES
BLOW DRY
Have hair washed before I arrive, or if you would like me to see your hair first, you can wash it once I've arrived.
CUT & Blow Dry
Please wash your hair before, or after I’ve arrived if you need me to see your hair before.
COLOUR
Hair must be clean, dry & product-free. This includes dry shampoo/talc, root colour spray, hairspray, etc. For best colour results, wash hair day/night before.
WEDDING HAIR
I request that all the wedding party the bride and bridesmaids hair be freshly washed and dried, ready for me to be creative. Any extra time preparing could impact on your schedule and costs . Wedding guests that have booked in for a blow dry i would appreciate it if they could be ready with freshly washed hair.
At all appointments it would be great if I could have a clean spacious area to work, free for my tools and have access to sockets.
OTHER INFORMATION
Payments can be paid by Cash, debit or credit card .
Hair By Design Hair Company reserves the right to request payment upfront for any services or products.
I endeavour to always get to your appointment on time, however being mobile please allow for traffic conditions that may effect your appointment. I will contact you when I'm on route to you and If there are any delays I will inform you straight away with a estimate time of arrival.
I appreciate some of my clients are smokers – but please could you refrain from smoking around me whilst I am visiting you. I do not want myself, my tools or gowns to smell of smoke this is especially unpleasant when I am visiting my next clients.
